Wild! Rare! Nature!

Sihanoukville is a nature lovers paradise with great Beaches, islands, coral reefs and national parks. Sihanoukville is immediately surrounded by four beaches: Ochheuteal Beach (the north end is known as Serendipity Beach), Victory Beach (the south end is known as Hawaii Beach), Independence Beach and Sokha Beach. Many others are just a little further away. Nearby Islands include Koh Pos, Koh Koang Kang, Koh Rong Samlem, Koh Kon, Koh Khteah, Koh Chraloh and Koh Ta Kiev. Many have great beaches themselves and good snorkling with lots of beautiful coral and colorful fish.

Don't Forget nearby Ream National Park! It includes sandy beaches, mangrove forests, coral reefs and two islands. There are 3 species of monkeys, sun bears, dolphins, over 155 species of birds, mouse deer, pangolin and tigers. Please remember to tip the guides (park rangers) with a few dollars or a small gift. Their salary is only $12 US per month (which is not enough to live on) and they make many sacrifices to protect the wildlife and natural resources of the park. They are the only thing standing between the wild animals and poachers.
